Can I get into the villa early?
On arrival you can get access to the villa from 4pm. It is almost always booked with back to back reservations meaning that on the day you arrive, someone else will be leaving. In order that it can be cleaned and prepared for your arrival there must be sufficient time to fully prepare both the villa and the gardens. If you are planning an early flight we suggest that you begin your reservation from the night before, allowing you to gain access earlier in the day.
Can I check out of the villa late?
On your departure day you will need to vacate the villa by 10am. It is almost always booked with back to back reservations meaning that on the day you depart, someone else will be arriving. In order that it can be cleaned and prepared for their arrival there must be sufficient time to fully prepare both the villa and the gardens. If you would like to find out if it is possible to check out later, please let us know and we can sometimes arrange this in quieter months, depending on whether another guest is due in.
Is linen provided?
All linen is provided as part of your stay, this includes bed linen, bathroom towels, tea towels and pool towels. Linen will be changed upon your departure, if you require a change of linen during your stay this can be arranged, please let us know at the time of booking and a quote can be provided.
Are there facilities to wash my clothes?
There is a washer-drier in all of the villas for washing clothes. Each villa has an an airer for drying clothes outside in the warmer months and an iron and ironing board are provided. Please note that it is a self catering property and washing liquid, fabric softener etc. are not provided but can be purchased from the local shop.
Is there a maid service?
Our villas are self catering properties and as such, a maid service is not included in the standard rental package. Should you wish to have someone clean the villa during your stay, or to change linen this can be arranged. Please contact us for a quotation. While cleaning products are not provided there is a mop, broom and dust pan available for use during your stay.
Is any food provided?
No food, drinks or supplies of any kind are provided as part of the standard rental package. A small amount of basics like toilet paper and hand soaps are provided in each of the bathrooms on arrival. You will need to purchase all other items for the duration of your stay. We are able to provide welcome packs which contain basic food and other items, should you wish to know more about the available options please contact us.
Are there hair dryers?
There are hair dryers available in each of the bathrooms.
Is there WiFi?
Each villa is equipped with a high speed internet connection which can be accessed by personal devices using the connection details located in the villa books in the property.
Do you have a cot and high chair?
A travel cot can be provided, it has a proper mattress so that little ones can be comfy. There is also a high chair and changing mat available. If you have more than one infant staying we are able to rent additional cots and high chairs for you, please inquire at the time of booking.
Is it suitable for a wheelchair?
Casa Oakdene has 1 bedroom on the ground floor, with en-suite bathroom, however the living area is split level and not suitable for wheel chair use. Casa Laranjal is more suited to wheel chair use.
How far is the airport?
Faro Airport is about 24km from the villa and takes around 30 minutes in a taxi. We are able to recommend a driver who knows the villa to collect you, please contact us for details.
Where is the nearest beach?
There are 2 beaches local to the villa. Falesia Beach and the Marina Beach. Both are around 5 minutes in a taxi, or can be accessed using the Vilamoura tourist train. Each have beautiful golden sandy beaches, sun beds for rent should you wish and beach front restaurant and bar.
